Visionary jazz-adjacent band Georgia Weber & The Sleeved Hearts have returned with their newest single, ‘Kintsugi’. It’s a fragile, soothing track that takes a melodic indie sound and blends it with Weber’s double bass playing to create something truly unique in tone. It’s only her second-ever love song, reflecting on the type of relationship that strengthens day by day. “Even on our worst days, I still feel like my husband and I are the right choice,” she says. “And that in the same way, we get stronger through our challenges.” The video that accompanies ‘Kintsugi’ is an interesting creation, with Weber writing a basic narrative to guide an AI through the storyline using video of the band alongside AI-generated imagery.
